Nashville or Bust!

Boston Airport and American Airlines operated by JetBlue…

Where do I begin? This has been the single worst experience in an airport I’ve ever had! The self-check machines at JetBlue don’t work, not that it matters, because when you book through American and the flight is with JetBlue you have to see an agent regardless.

Honestly, I just want to go home!

So I arrived at the airport two hours before my fight, like you’re supposed to. I can’t checkin at the AA kiosk so I get in their line. That’s when there agent tells me I need to leave terminal B and go to C (10 minutes walk he says). Great! Fortunately, it was closer to 5 minutes, but when I see the line with about 200-300 people waiting immediately realize there is no way I’m going to make my flight. There are others around me who were already missing theirs.

At this point, there are approximately 3-4 agents behind the counter. Unbelievable!

Here I am still waiting, and now there are 7 agents. The line has started moving a little faster, but it’s 8:08 a.m. and my flight leaves at 8:10 a.m. Flight officially missed! I can honestly say I’m furious with both American Airlines and JetBlue at this point. There are a few other flights, however, I’m not sure if they will be available by the time I get to the counter. Let’s see how this goes. Nope no flights available today and they won’t pay for the hotel because I booked through American Airlines. Let me just say that I had no idea until it was booked that it was a JetBlue flight. The supervisor was very kind and suggested I try going back to AA. Off I go!

American Airlines ticket counter is nearly empty. I’m super hopeful but not holding my breath. Jordan was the young lady who assisted me. She looked and looked. Not looking good by the look on her face. Then she says, “Did I just find one? Wait just a moment let me make sure.” She did actually find one and got me booked. I have to fly into LaGuardia then have a 4 hour and 45 minute layover, but she got me home today!! I couldn’t be happier.

I get to security and it’s a breeze! Then I look to my left and my gate is literally right there. I look around and audibly say darn, no Starbucks. A young lady walking past says oh there’s one right around the corner. SCORE! So now I’m off to get breakfast and coffee. I had to write this first of course.

Laughing at Myself

I can't help but laugh at the possibility (probability) that no one reads my blog but me.  I guess I'm okay with that, since it really has no foundation anyway.  My blog doesn't have a gimmick or a theme, so it's just really me writing about whatever pops into my head or about something that I want to give my opinion about.  I was sitting here thinking about it and starting laughing out loud at myself.  I am my own best fan!  Hahaha!  So I guess I'll keep on writing whenever I think of something I want to put out there.  It's good sometimes to get stuff off my chest, but some of the serious ones like that are kept private (just for my viewing) anyway.

Toodles!

Keurig VUE Party via HouseParty.com

I just realized I hadn't blogged about the newest and greatest brewer from Keurig.  It is the latest and greatest thing since the microwave oven!  Serously!!!  You can now brew stronger, hotter, and yes, bigger with the new Keurig VUE!  Thanks to House Party, I had the amazing opportunity to receive one of these wonderful brewers to share with my family and friends.  My party was a smashing success!  I did have some last minute cancellations, due to illness and injuries, but we are planning to get together soon for them to check it out.  Everyone at the party tried something new and learned how to make the most of this brewer.  We also enjoyed some great treats and awesome company.  There were some late comers who I got to go over the VUE with, one on one.  It was all in all a wonderful day!  I've talked about this machine to complete strangers in stores, friends who couldn't attend, and a few acquaintances.  It's all just been so much fun!  I'm also telling anyone who will listen all about House Party.
